I made these on Sunday for our Super Bowl Party with friends. It’s a light, fluffy dessert, that doesn’t feel too heavy on your stomach. It is kind of dangerous, because you could get carried away and eat the whole tray and not even realize it. The strawberries are healthy though, right?! 🙂
These bars are also a dessert that would be great for Valentine’s Day or even during the Summer months when strawberries are readily available.
Start by spraying a 9X13 pan with cooking spray. Then unwrap one of these brilliant Crescent Dough SHEETS. I am in love with these. This new creation has saved me from having to press all the dough back together from where it’s been perforated. A life saver and time saver – thank you Pillsbury.
Next, take your cream cheese, sugar and vanilla mixture and mix well.
Should look something like this when it’s all mixed together.
Spread evenly over your first layer of crescent dough sheet.
Then you can add your second dough sheet to cover it.
It should look something like this when done. Golden brown.
Once it cools cut into bars and place on serving tray.
Drizzle icing over the top and garnish with strawberries and powdered sugar.
